Kat Tomka

Kat Tomka earned a BFA in Metalsmithing with a minor in Fibers, an MA in Art History and a MFA in Drawing and Painting, all from the University of Wisconsin. During her MFA, she completed a study abroad in Assisi, Italy. Her work has been displayed in solo and group exhibitions, and she has been the recipient of many grants and fellowships. Tomka has served as a lecturer and instructor at various museums and educational institutions across the U.S., and is currently an assistant professor in Drawing and Painting at the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
