Janet Bauer McCarren

JANET McCARREN (nee Bauer) died Dec. 27th, 2010. She was born Nov. 11th, 1930, to Irving and Lucille Bauer in Cleveland, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband (Robert E. McCarren). Surviving are two sons, Robert and Stephen (Barbara) McCarren; grandsons James and Michael McCarren; brother Thomas Bauer, and numerous cousins, nieces and friends. She was a well-known local artist. She began her career as a commercial artist in Cleveland, OH. She especially loved painting watercolors. Among the galleries where her works were displayed include the Toledo Museum of Art, the Butler Museum in Youngstown, OH, and the National Gallery.
