Constance Sullivan

Constance Sullivan was born in London, England, but spent most of her life in the United States. She studied at the Dayton, Ohio, Art Institute, and at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. Sullivan studied with individual mentors as well: Pennsylvania impressionist painter Eliot O’Hara, and York Pennsylvania painter and sculptor Herbert Leopold.

Sullivan’s work was exhibited at the Dayton Art Institute; The Corcoran Gallery of Art; the Hagerstown Museum of Fine Arts, Maryland; and in Congressional Offices of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. Late in life she lived and worked in Rockville, Maryland.
