Terry LaRue is a Seattle-based photographer and printmaker who lives with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, a rare and severe chronic pain condition. LaRue uses his camera as a distraction from his pain by focusing on the world unfolding around him—a practice he describes as a continual search for moments that reflect his own internal state back at him.
