Ryan Faer is an emerging street and documentary photographer based in Phoenix, shooting exclusively in black and white for his ongoing project American Dream: A Portrait of America. The series captures strangers and communities across the country in everyday moments. Faer writes, “A life with depression and anxiety ultimately led me to pick up a camera. My work is rooted in human connection…I strive to put people before pictures, allowing relationships and experiences to shape the photographs.”
