Ron Klein

Ron Klein’s research has taken him to dozens of equatorial rainforest all over the world to observe indigenous culture and gather materials for his work.

He has won many awards and fellowships, including five Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation/Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowships in Sculpture, two National Endowment for the Arts- Sculpture Fellowships, four Jackson Pollock/Lee Krasner Foundation Fellowships in Sculpture, and a La Napoule residency in France.

Discussion and reviews of his work have appeared in such publications as The Philadelphia Inquirer, Art in America, Village Voice, Sculpture Magazine, and Art Forum.

Klein has had numerous exhibitions in galleries, museums and public spaces both nationally and internationally. His work is held in a number of private and public collections. Images and information on his work can be found at.
