Artist and illustrator Pamela Sztybel is most recently known for her Notebook series, colorful renderings of daily news headlines from the Covid-19 pandemic. Every morning, she hunts through newspapers and blogs for headlines that might translate visually. She paints them with watercolors, two to a page in a large sketchbook, and shares them on Instagram, potential comic relief from the twenty-four-hour news cycle.
