Naomi Chung

Naomi Chung’s paintings focus on the dichotomy between representation and abstraction, landscape and still life, and the natural and man-made worlds. Some bring forth a feeling of tranquility, and some are frenetic, resulting from striving to seize a moment before it’s gone. Her work celebrates plants of all forms, “exploring the beauty of their shapes and the spaces their leaves and branches define.”
