Wisconsin-born, New York-based artist Kevin Champeny creates large-scale mosaic works using thousands of individually hand-cast resin pieces. Rather than use conventional mosaic tiles, Champeny builds images from small sculptural elements, drawing attention to the shapes, spaces, and relationships between objects that often go overlooked. His practice transforms familiar subjects through repetition, scale, and material complexity, inviting viewers to experience each work both up close and from a distance.
