Elaine Spatz-Rabinowitz

Elaine Spatz-Rabinowitz lives and works in Cambridge, MA, and shows regularly at the Howard Yezerski Gallery in Boston and at the O.K. Harris Gallery in New York. Her most recent show is reviewed in the current (Summer 2008) issue of ARTnews. For her 2007 Guggenheim Fellowship, Spatz-Rabinowitz’s signature work of oil paintings on cast, pigmented Hydrocal turned to the subject of political violence and war. Her work is held in many public and private collections, including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Addison Gallery of American Art, the deCordova Museum, and the Davis Museum and Cultural Center.
