Eileen Murphy has spent most of her life along the Hudson River, first in Westchester and Columbia Counties, and now in Brooklyn, where she has lived for the last thirteen years. She has a BA from Mount Holyoke College and an MFA from Pratt Institute, and has shown widely in New York City and in Hudson, NY. Eileen has been awarded residencies to the Vermont Studio Center and Yaddo, and has been featured in publications such as Harper’s Magazine.
