As part of a “Meet the Artists” panel, Nick Cave, Imran Qureshi, and Pat Steir will join art critic and journalist Deborah Solomon for an enlightening discussion on their commitment to cultural diplomacy through the visual arts and international cultural exchange.

Cave, Qureshi and Steir are three recipients of the 2017 International Medal of Arts, “awarded by the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Art in Embassies to artists whose work serves as a bridge with other nations, encourages discussions and expression of opinions, highlights the communal experiences of people from other countries, cultures, and backgrounds worldwide.” The event will be held January 11, 2017.
