Born in San Antonio, Texas, Liza Lewis earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1980 from Trinity University, San Antonio. She has had solo shows at Carrington Gallery (2005) and Read Stremmel Gallery (1988), both in San Antonio; and her work was included in the 2006 Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center Annual Art Gala, Austin, Texas, and the 2004 Southwest Craft Center Art Auction and Gala, San Antonio.
