Jean Wells

“My life has been an ‘Inspired Journey’ when it comes to quilting. As a nine year old I discovered sewing and embroidery and this began my love affair with fabric. I have been fortunate to turn these interests into a career: teaching, lecturing, writing books, and owning a quilting/fabric store (The Stitchin’ Post in Sisters, Oregon) for thirty-six years.

Recurring themes in my quilts have to do with the integration of interesting line, shape, and color combinations. These are common threads running through my mind as I work intuitively.”
