Painter Jack Morris was born in Ailigandí, in the Guna Yala region on Panama’s northeast coast. Growing up near the sea, surrounded by tropical flora and fauna, Morris developed a deep connection to nature that continues to inform his work to this day which, ranges from still life compositions and landscapes to depictions of the human figure.
