Duke Appleton is a visual artist, as well as an illustrator, writer, poet, musician, actor, and cartoonist.
He is also the CEO and founder of Artists Without Borders. In his brightly colored paintings, Appleton
interprets scenes of everyday village life, often along waterways or the ocean, as well as genre portraits
of traditional Liberians.
