Panamanian artist Alexis Benalcázar paints landscapes executed in striking detail with vivid colors to convey the beauty of the environment. “I perceive a figurative and surreal vision of a green city, where human beings interact with the environment and experiences are captured in memories,” he states. Benalcázar holds a degree in fine arts from the University of Panama and has exhibited his work in Panama and Colombia.
