Of his art, Richard Royal writes, “My work is an expression of self exploration and realizations that life is a reflection of our core being, and that people, places, and things around come from, or are attracted to, that core self.” Royal has had solo exhibitions at William Traver Gallery, Seattle, Washington; Vespermann Gallery, Atlanta Georgia; Marx Gallery, Chicago, Illinois; and LewAllen Contemporary, Santa Fe, New Mexico, to name a few. His work is in a variety of public and private collections, including the IBM Collection, New York, New York; the High Museum, Atlanta, Georgia; SAFECO Collection, Seattle Washington, and New Orleans Museum of Art, Louisiana, among others.
