Eleanor Hubbard

Eleanor Hubbard’s first language is color. Her art can be characterized as the recreation of creatures and vistas of the natural world through the filter of a vivid imagination. She received a BA in English and an MFA in Fine Art from the University of Pennsylvania. Numerous exhibitions of her work have been held both in the US and in Europe. A Ford Foundation Fellow in Medieval Studies at Cornell University, she has twice been Artist-in-Residence for the US Department of State. Hubbard is founding director of the Institute Voleu, an organization dedicated to the support of uncommon creative initiatives.
