Painter, printmaker, and etcher Wanda Miller Matthews wanted her work to speak like a whisper, but still be memorable.She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, in 1952 and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, in 1957. After considerable travel in Europe, she established a studio in Boulder, Colorado, with a view of the Rocky Mountains where she lived for many years.
