“Primarily my sculpture is constructed by assembling materials together. I work mainly with Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Steel, Ceramics and Mixed-Media. My work is abstract. The challenge is to explore various ways of creating visual movement in materials without being kinetic. I am also exploring contrast with color, materials & textures representing dark & light, strong & fragile, & balance & unbalance, as well as the visual communication with color.”
Victor Arbogast is a California contemporary artist/sculptor working in a variety of media. Arbogast is the son of the late famous San Francisco Bay Area advertising photographer William (Bill) Arbogast (1923-2005). Arbogast was heavily influenced by his father’s creative & artistic eye for lighting and composition. This along with a outgoing professional approach added to Arbogast’s creative personality.
