Palmore emerged from the 1970s Photorealist movement as a maverick. He received his arts education from numerous institutions, earning his BFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1969. His work has been collected by distinguished corporate collections and is included in many prominent public collections including the Smithsonian Institution, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Denver Museum of At and the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
