Sylvia Lark

Sylvia Lark was born in Buffalo, New York, and over the course of her lifetime was a widely-exhibited artist and respected teacher at several institutions. Her work is held in such collections as the Museum of Metropolitan Art, New York City; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, Illinois; and the Oakland Museum, California, among others. She worked primarily in oils, pastels, and monotype.
