Sharon Marcus

Sharon Marcus worked for more than 25 years in administration, curriculum development/implementation and teaching in the fields of art and general studies at the Oregon College of Art and Craft. She has served on several non-profit boards, lectured and conducted workshops across the US and in Costa Rica, and collaborated with colleagues on the successful staging of international art projects (exhibitions, conferences and retreats) in the US, Australia, Western and Central Europe. While chair of the Arts and Culture Committee of Partners of the Americas, she worked with artisans in Costa Rica to design and implement art exchange programs in Oregon and Costa Rica. She was managing editor of an international tapestry journal for three years. She lives in the South Portland neighborhood of SW Portland.
