Video art pioneer Peter Campus creates complex installations that engage and amuse, while leading the viewer on a journey of discovery and self-awareness. From the closed-circuit video installations he began making in 1971 to his more modern work, Campus’s oeuvre focuses on perception and vision, exploiting the specific characteristics of both the electronic and the digital image.
