World traveler and Fulbright Scholar Nuha Moretz has been making art for over thirty-five years. “Art is a form of communication, and I paint to channel inspiration drawn from my surroundings or to express what I cannot convey through mere words,” she says. Her travels through North and East Africa, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East inform her work; she took art classes, connected with communities, and collected artwork throughout this time.
