Mary Page Evans

Mary Page Evans paints vibrant, impressionistic landscapes and gardens described as “hymns of unadulterated joy.” Working in plein air, or outdoors, she notes the landscape’s location, the time of day, and the lighting, and then paints it with fluid brushstrokes. “Becoming involved with its particularities, I get to know it as if I were painting a figure or a still life,” she says.
