Lorna Marsh

Lorna Marsh was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Although Marsh’s artistic vision may be grounded in her classical training she has developed a distinctive style that transcends standard interpretative mechanisms. She is a figurative expressionist who blends symbolism, surrealism, and expressionism that reflect a universal dialogue that addresses man’s destructive relationship to himself and his environment. Marsh’s work has been exhibited throughout the world, in solo shows in South America, Spain, the USA and South Africa and in group shows in Italy and the USA. She has had many prominent shows at the Florida Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art in Miami and at the Jocobo Borges Museum in Caracas, Venezuela.
