Ken Ashton resides in Washington, DC, and has spent the past decade photographing neighborhoods throughout the world, with DC as a starting point. He has undertaken an encyclopedic project photographing communities along the Northeastern corridor of the US, from DC to Boston, entitled “Megalopolis.” Collections of his work include the His work is included in the collections of The Washington Post, the Library of Congress, and Fannie Mae, and has been. He has exhibited in the Washington DC area, nationally, and internationally. Ken is the primary framer for the Corcoran’s photography exhibits.
