Kathleen McKenna

Kathleen McKenna received a certificate from the Cooper School of Art, Cleveland, Ohio, where she studied from 1968 to 1973; in the springs of 1972 and 1974, she studied at the Art Students League in New York City. McKenna has received numerous awards, including the President’s Award of the American Artists Professional League, New York (1993); and the all-Ohio exhibition, Canton Art Institute, Canton (1990). She has exhibited at the Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, Ohio; the Alexandria Museum of Art, Louisiana; and the National Arts Club, New York City. Since 1966 McKenna has been an arts instructor at the Lakeland Community College in Kirkland, Ohio.
