Janice Lessman-Moss, Professor of Textile Art at Kent State University received her BFA from Tyler School of Art and her MFA from the University of Michigan. She has exhibited her weavings throughout the United States and internationally, and been recognized with a number of Individual Artist Fellowships from the Ohio Arts Council, an Arts Midwest/National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Crafts, and the Governor’s Award for the Arts in Ohio in 2016.
Her art practice revolves around an interest in the interconnection of abstract systems rooted in the common binary language of the computer and the loom.
