Self-taught, Ilna de Moller masters her techniques through experimentation. She came to the arts because of a need to express feelings and search for the freedom of shapes, using sculptural modeling and shapes and colors to expand the possibilities in digital art. De Moller adds: “Just as in life, I tie and untie; I find the freedom of whimsical shapes, recovering nice and happy memories, constantly experimenting and enjoying myself in the process; I construct and deconstruct.”
There is a clear concern to facilitate positive messages; within her structured environment, she recreates spaces or joys through the simplicity of her shapes. Her mastery of drawing under a steady and free-flowing stroke offers delicate lines that transform the foundations of her works.
