“This art quilt is my visual representation of the true meaning [of] Seeing in Color. Our world is full of color on so many fronts, but for me, none is more pertinent and representative of the theme of this quilt, Seeing in Color, than the different colors of the human race. There are more skin colors and hues than we can count, yet we are all connected by a [common] thread. If all the colors were stripped away, we would realize we are all the same. How wonderful it would be if we were all seen as one, as opposed to being different,” says fiber artist Georgia Williams.
