David Lund

David Lund is a fine artist and illustrator and former art director working in a wide variety of media from oil and acrylic to watercolor and dry media. His projects have included commissioned fine art and portraiture, architectural and animal art, traditional and digital illustration.

A fine art major at the University of Utah, his focus was figurative drawing and painting both realistic and experimental. The main influences on his art were his professors: Alvin Gittins, Douglas Snow and Angelo Caravaglia. David held his first one-man show of drawings at age nineteen. As a teenager David won a National Scholastic Art Award and was the recipient of student art awards in college. David also received a Communication Arts magizine Award of Excellence for Illustration. More recently, David was an Artslant 3rd Showcase Winner (Mixed Media) and also an Artslant 1st Showcase Winner (Drawing).

David’s studio and home is in the Seattle area on Puget Sound’s Kitsap Peninsula.
