Dale Haven Loy, of Washington, D.C., studied art at Stanford University and American University before pursuing it as a career. Her work has shown at the National Academy of Sciences (Washington, D.C.), the U.S. Mission to the United Nations (New York, New York), and the National Museum of Women in the Arts (Washington, D.C.), along with many others.
