Chet Kalm was educated at the Yale University School of Fine Arts, L’Ecole des Beaux Arts and l’Academie Colarossi in Paris. In parallel career activities, Chet Kalm served as an administrator and teacher at Parsons School of Design for twenty-five years. He was the Chair of the Foundation Department and taught drawing, color, design and art history. Kalm also worked as a medical, technical and editorial illustrator and graphic designer of text books, children’s books and magazines. Since moving to the Berkshires in 1991 Kalm has devoted himself entirely to painting.
