“In my paintings I create a balance between the casual and the considered; the ordered and the entropic; the predictable and the random. They are all visual representations of my personal sense of order. When this sense of order cedes to and coalesces with the human error I bring and the potentiality of the canvas, the result is work that is honest, necessary and inevitable.”
